January 20-23, 2026, the “XX Jubilee International Congress on Reproductive Medicine. Endometriosis. Artificial Intelligence in Gynecology” with Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy Course” was held at the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology

The Congress was officially opened by Gennady Sukhikh. Congress Co-chair Leila Adamyan introduced the foreign experts who attended the Congress in person: Prof. A. Wattiez, Prof. R. Tozzi, Prof. G. Bigatti, Prof. Sh. Puntambekar, Prof. O. Shawki, and Dr. A. D'Afiero.

The Congress was attended by Rafael Shavaliev, Director of the Department of Medical Care for Children, Maternity Care and Public Health of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, who delivered a greeting from the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.

Congress participants were also welcomed by the Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare Alla Samoylova, and Rector of the Russian University of Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Oleg Yanushevich.

  • 6 plenary sessions covering such areas as the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis; the use of AI in reproductive medicine; achievements and prospects in the field of ART; prevention of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, reproductive losses, and reproductive health disorders in various diseases;
  • More than 130 scientific and clinical presentations, including 44 presentations from experts of the Kulakov Center, and 22 presentations from representatives of leading Russian regional scientific, educational and clinical centers.

The first day of the Congress began with the opening of the International Course on laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. The course was held daily throughout the Congress. As part of the course, 19 laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries were performed, including procedures for cervical and endometrial cancer, adenomyosis, endometriosis, metroplasty for uterine scar insufficiency, cerclage, removal of submucosal fibroids and endometrial polyp
