Grand Opening of the Congress

The Congress was officially opened by the Congress Co-chairs Gennady Sukhikh and Leila Adamyan. The participants were also welcomed by the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, the Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare Alla Samoylova, and Deputy Head of the Moscow City Department of Health, Saida Gadzhieva.

A special focus of the program was the International Course on Endoscopic Surgery, which included master classes and training sessions, as well as online broadcasts of surgeries from the Kulakov Center's operating rooms and foreign hospitals. Participants had the opportunity to study the principles of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, modern surgical energies, and endoscopic suturing techniques, practice skills on simulators, and discuss clinical issues with renowned international experts.

The course included 23 interactive broadcasts of laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and vaginal surgeries performed by Russian and international experts, including surgeries for pelvic prolapse, infiltrating endometriosis, benign and malignant gynecological diseases, as well as interventions for uterine scar, uterine septa, and intrauterine adhesions.

On the first day of the Congress, the All-Russian Seminar “Organization of training in obstetrics and gynecology in accordance with new regulatory requirements” was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Health Tatyana Semenova. The seminar covered new regulatory requirements for training personnel in secondary vocational education, residency programs, and continuing professional education, as well as issues related to mentoring in the healthcare.

Over the four days of the Congress, the most pressing issues in modern gynecology were discussed: the impact of artificial intelligence on robotic surgery and surgical planning; emerging approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis; and reasons why this condition is increasingly viewed as a neuroimmunological systemic process. Experts discussed the relevance, advantages, and limitations of surgical interventions,
