Visit of delegations from Myanmar and Burkina Faso
On December 04, 2024, within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Forum “Russian Health Week 2024” representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar led by the Deputy Minister of Health Mr. Aye Tun, the delegation from the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso led by the Minister of Health Dr. Robert Kargougou, as well as the Expert of research programs of the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) Dr. Sara Abdulla visited the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the Center’s Deputy Director for Science Dmitry Degtyarev together with the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Ekaterina Yarotskaya presented to the guests the structure and main functions of the Center, including organizational, educational, medical, and scientific activities. The main emphasis was put on the experience of the Center in telemedicine and perinatal consultations, as well as control and support of the quality of regional medical care in the Russian Federation. After getting acquainted with the Centre's research base, the delegations expressed interest in joint scientific projects. The parties also discussed the possibility of joint educational activities, including seminars and conferences. The guests were also introduced to the work of the Simulation and Training Center and visited departments of the Institute of Oncogynecology and Mammology.
