From May 14 to 16, 2025, the International Scientific and Educational Congress dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is the leading and largest scientific institution in Kazakhstan for the implementation of the state policy in the field of reproductive health protection, took place in Almaty (Kazakhstan). 

From May 14 to 16, 2025, the International Scientific and Educational Congress dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is the leading and largest scientific institution in Kazakhstan for the implementation of the state policy in the field of reproductive health protection, took place in Almaty (Kazakhstan). 

The scientific program of the Congress included a wide range of topics on obstetrics and gynecology, including reproductive health of women and men, adolescents and children; new ART technologies, the use of artificial intelligence in reproductive medicine; interdisciplinary issues of modern obstetrics; resuscitation and intensive care in obstetrics and neonatology; advances in fetal medicine, etc.

The participants of the Congress were welcomed by: Yerzhan Nurlybayev, Vice-Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Gulfairuz Urazbayeva, Head of the Congress, Chairman of the Board of the Center; Prof. Nina Kayupova, Scientific Advisor of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Ainur Argynbekova, Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Gennady Sukhikh, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Director of the FSBI “National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, also delivered a welcome speech to the Congress participants. He noted the historical continuity and traditions, partnerships, successes and achievements of the Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology, which are consistent with the rapid and successful development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the invitation of the Congress leaders, several leading workers of the FSBI “National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation took part in the scientific program: Nataliya Dolgushina, Deputy Director for Science, Victor Zubkov, Director of the Institute of Neonatology and Pediatrics, Andrey Prikhodko, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Obstetrics, Elena Uvarova, Head of the 2^nd Gynecological Department, Elizaveta Khamatkhanova, Head of the Department of Educational Simulation Technologies in Medicine, Ekaterina Yarotskaya, Head of the Department of International Cooperation.
