July 17, 2025 the delegation from the Chinese pharmaceutical company IASO Bio visited the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology: Mr. Guang Hu – Research & Development Vice-President; Mr. Yang Zhou – Head of Overseas Business Development; Mr. Jiajie Fei – Key Account Manager; Mr. Zhimin Xia – Key Account Manager, as well as the representatives from the Russian branch of IASO Bio – Ramis Nabiev and Tatiana Zmushko.
On behalf of the Kulakov Center the meeting was attended by: Gennady Sukhikh (Director of the Center, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences); Tatiana Tsybizova – Deputy Director for Development of the Kulakov Center; Vladimir Bozhenko – Scientific Consultant; Alexey Liundup – Scientific Consultant; Marina Ukhorskaya — Scientific Consultant; Vladimir Frankevich – Deputy Director of the Institute of Translational Medicine; Konstantin Popov – Head of the Center for Personalized High-Tech Therapy Drugs; Ekaterina Yarotskaya – Head of International Cooperation Department; Oksana Druzhilovskaya – Researcher at the Genome Editing Laboratory.
IASO Bio specializes in research, development, production and implementation of advanced cell technologies and biological antibodies.
Guests from China got acquainted with the structure and activities of the Center and visited the Department of Innovative Oncology and Gynecology, the Laboratory of Metabolomics and Bioinformatics, the Laboratory of Reproductive Genetics, and the Center for Personalized High-Tech Therapy Drugs.
During the visit, the Chinese colleagues introduced IASO Bio unique developments, in particular CAR-T therapy for the treatment of relapsed and/or refractory multiple myeloma and autoimmune diseases. The company proposed considering the possibility of collaboration in research, development and implementation of cell technologies for the treatment of a wide range of diseases and disorders.
Summing up the meeting, academician Gennady Sukhikh thanked the Chinese delegation for their interest and expressed readiness for further cooperation.
