FOCUS AREA

  • The laboratory conducts molecular genetic studies of hereditary and somatic mutations, chromosomal rearrangements of the genome in patients with oncological diseases of the reproductive system and transcriptomics of tumors. Drawing "molecular portrait of a tumor" makes it possible to take a decision on personalized therapy of patients with malignant tumors.
  • Screening for genetic mutations associated with the risk of breast cancer and ovarian cancer (mutations in the BRCA1, BRCA2 genes).
  • Laboratory diagnosis of human papillomavirus (HPV).  High-risk HPV typing and quantification is used in the diagnosis of HPV infection, precancerous lesions, and in the prevention of cervical cancer.
