The XVII International Congress on Reproductive Medicine was held online on January 17-20, 2023 in Moscow
The congress ran on-line on the ZOOM platform and was streamed from the RIA NOVOSTI (the Russian News and Information Agency) studio and the studio of the Center itself.

4349 participants from 16 countries, 475 cities and 87 regions of Russia checked in for the Congress.
Oleg Salagay, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, spoke at the opening of the Congress and delivered a welcoming word on behalf of Mikhail Murashko, the Minister of Health of Russia. Oleg Salagay noted the influential role of the Congress on international platforms in the field of medicine. In addition, he stressed the importance of implementing innovative methods and high-tech equipment for minimally invasive surgery in clinical practice, as well as the increasing need to use digital medicine to improve the quality and availability of medical services.
The participants of the Congress were also welcomed by the Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare Alla Samoylova.
The scientific programme of the Congress was opened by Professor Gennady Sukhikh, Director of the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology. In his report he touched upon the main controversial issues of reproductive medicine: reproductive genetics/genomics, single cell transcriptomics in human reproduction, male infertility, cell technologies in reproductive medicine, microbiome and reproduction, ageing of the reproductive system.
