Obstetric Department has highly qualified doctors with vast experience of work in obstetrics, gynecology and prenatal diagnostics. It is equipped according to the most modern requirements. The staff provides a full range of outpatient and inpatient health care in family planning, management of labor and care in postnatal period for the mother and the newborn baby.
Pregnancy planning is a very important stage for successful carrying of pregnancy and the birth of a healthy baby. A future mother should visit certain specialists and sometimes undergo a complex examination to ensure readiness for pregnancy. The women have a possibility to visit appropriate specialists, undergo medical tests, ultrasound and functional examinations, and if any health complication is found, they may undergo a course of treatment.
Every day the obstetricians-gynecologists, therapists, endocrinologists, neuropathologists, ophthalmologists and psychotherapists see the patients. If necessary, the patients may be consulted by the urologist, surgeon of general surgery, or the doctor of functional diagnostics.
Being a specialized medical facility for obstetrics and neonatology the Department possesses unique resources for providing healthcare with advanced technologies for a woman and a newborn in situations, which are critical for a mother and a baby.
